Things to Remember:
- Do not put hot food immediately into the refrigerator—let it cool down first.
- Make sure the doors fully seal when closed and that the door seals are clean.
- Refrigerator water filters should be replaced once every six months or 400 gallons. Before installing a new filter, submerge it in water until all the air bubbles are released. After installation, run a few liters of water through the dispenser continuously.
- If the refrigerator was placed on its side during moving or transport, it must be left to stand upright for a minimum of 24 hours before being connected to power. This will allow the oils in the compressor to set and prevent a sealed system failure.
- The refrigerator’s condenser coils must be cleaned or blown out periodically. This should be done more frequently if there are kids and/or pets in the house, as they generate more dirt and lint.
- Make sure there is sufficient space on the refrigerator’s back and sides to allow air to flow through.
